Before The Garden State there was Everything Moves Alone. A young man named Scotch (played by Philip Guerette) comes into a town filled with quite possibly the most socially dysfunctional people he's ever seen. A stranger named Anderson (played by Thomas Edward Seymour) convinces Scotch to sabotage a man's car in exchange for a ride into town. This puts Scotch right in the middle of an on going feud between Anderson and Mcdunley(played by Matt Ford). The story unfolds to reveal that Mcdunley and Anderson fight because they are upset over the death of a mutual loved one in their past. This multi-layered story delights and intrigues you. With the clever dialogue and deadpan humor Everything Moves Alone is sure to win you over."It is a complex picture of small town life"-Hollywood is burning film reviews
